Tournament Crew

For parents at youth tournaments

Everybody on the same page.

Tournament weekend, five parents, one game: “Hey, what’s the score?” Tournament Crew is the shared, live scoreboard the group keeps between themselves. No app to install, no sign-up - just a link.

Works in the browser on any phone. Add it to your home screen if you like.

How it works

  1. Start it from your phone

No app to install, no admin code. One parent opens a browser tab, names the tournament, and that is it.

  2. Share it with a QR code

Anyone who scans it can follow along and add to it straight away - print it, screenshot it, or drop it in the group chat.

  3. Keep score together

Add the games, tap +1 for a goal, say who scored, and talk it over in the chat - all live, on everyone’s phone at once.

Everything the group needs

One shared list, not five text threads

Every game the group cares about lives in one place, updated the moment someone taps it. No refresh, no “what did I miss?”

A live score, not a rumour

Any parent with the link can add a goal and everybody watching sees it the same second - with the name of whoever scored.

Add your games from the programme

Photo of the sheet, an Excel file, a PDF or a Tournify link: pick your team and its games are added with the times from the programme.

A clock for every game

A simple count-up any parent can start or stop. No durations to set up - just “how long have they been playing?”

A chat for the group

Where to eat, which rink, who’s running late. It sits beside the games, signed with the name you typed in once.

Notifications when it matters

Add it to your home screen and switch on the bell: a message in the chat reaches you even with the app closed.

Remembers your tournaments

Open it again and your tournaments are right there. Sign in to carry them across phones - or don’t, and keep the link.

Running the tournament?

The big screen is built in, too.

Tournament Crew grew out of Multi Scoreboard, the three-rink scoreboard clubs run on a Full HD screen at their own tournaments: one shared match clock, horns, a schedule imported from Tournify, and a QR code for each scorekeeper.

Good to know

Do I need an account?

No. A tournament needs only its link. Register with your email if you want more: the match report after the tournament, and every game from every tournament you open in one list, on any phone.

Can I get the match report afterwards?

Yes, if you have registered with your email (it is free). When the tournament is ended you get the match report: every game, who scored and when. It is one email, nothing else, with a link to stop it. Following a tournament never needs an account - only the report does.

Who can change the scores?

Anyone who has the link. That is the point - the whole group keeps score together - so share it with the group, not the world. If you need a tighter grip, you decide who gets the QR code.

Will it work if the wifi at the rink is bad?

Installed on your home screen it opens straight away, even offline. Live updates need a connection, and they catch up the moment you have one again.

How do I get notifications?

Add the app to your home screen, open a tournament and tap the bell in the chat. On iPhone this only works from the home-screen app, not from a Safari tab.

Ready for the next game?

It takes about a minute to set up, and nobody else has to install anything.
